The Second World War was started on 1st September 1939 and lasted till 2nd September 1945

The Second World War was started on 1st September 1939 and lasted till 2nd September 1945. The Second World War was the largest war or conflict ever happened in the world. The war was occurred between the powerful countries of the 20th century that are Germany, Italy, Japan, and Great Britain, France, United States America, RUSSIA that was called USSR at that time. These counties were divided into two different groups named Allied powers and Axis powers. Germany, Italy, Japan were in Axis powers and France, Britain, USA, S0VIET UNION were in Allied powers. The war was also counted in the one of the greatest watersheds of 20th century. Actually the Axis countries initiated the war mostly by the Germany. The dictator of Germany ADOLF Hitler wanted to occupy Poland. So he determined to attack on Poland. He thought that Germany could attack on Poland without any danger of Britain and soviet. But actually Poland had support of British military and France military. So Hitler gave order to invade on Poland on august 31 ignoring the efforts of western countries. In response great Britain and France declared war on Germany on September 3 and hence the world war 2 begun. The second world war was considered as most destructive war in the history as it incurred 40000000-50000000deaths 0r in the other sense estimates of those people who were killed vary from 35 million to 6o million. Only in Europe the total who killed were 15-20 million. And the 6 million were Jewish people. During the war, one after another most of the countries were attacked and occupied. And millions of people were uprooted from their homes. The most famous causes of world war 2 was Italian Fascism in 1920s, Japanese Militarism and invasion of china in the 1930 and political takeover of Germany by Adolf Hitler in 1933 and Hitler’s Nazi party and its cruel foreign policy. Although the war begun in 1939 when Germany attacked on Poland but USA was not involved in the war until after the Japanese bombed on American fleet in Pearl Harbor, Havaii, on December 7, 1941. The Japanese attacked on it because of several reasons, first is that the wanted to destroy more of American fleet units and then stopping the Pacific fleet from interfering with Japanese conquest of the Dutch East Indies and Malaya AND TO enable Japan to conquer South East Asia without interference. Actually, the attack by imperial Japanese Navy air on this American fleet Pearl Harbor was a surprise military strike. And this was famous in the world as ‘The Battle of Pearl Harbor’ which caused the United States to enter into the Second World War. Japanese did it because they wanted to prevent American fleet from interfering in their mission to conquest South East territories. And then, on the next day December 8, America declared war on Japan and after few days America declared an another war on Germany and Italy. So the consequences of the unannounced attack of Japan was disastrous for its people and the whole country. On August 6, 1945, during World War 2 America dropped its first deployed atomic bomb B-29 Bomber over a city of Japan ‘Hiroshima’. And then three days later on August 9 United States drooped B-29 on the another big city of Japan ‘Nagasaki’. After the next four or five months of bomb blast the terrible effects of the blast killed about 1,45,000 people of Japan. And the most important thing to be noticed is that even today the background radiation of the blast in Hiroshima and Nagasaki is the same and the new born people in those cities are born paralysed because of those acute effects of the blast.
And finally on August 15 1945 Japan admitted defeat before the United States. And the World War 2 ended within it.
