According to a study conducted by researchers at the University of Texas and Louisiana State University, when schools forbid students from bringing their smartphones into the classroom, their grades quickly improve on the whole and their test scores increased by an average of 6 percent. Shows that by banning mobile phones it can increase the scores and they will be more attentive to learn. Also, Mobile phones can also demotivate the student’s attention to study when they get distracted from the mobile phones while their more focus on it when they have with them. The mobile phone also makes students misuse their phones. Rather than pay attention in class they start going through social media and other websites or play games on their phones which leads to being distracted by mobile phones. So mobile phone should be banned in schools

As most of time cyberbullying is likely to happen around school times to prevent that mobile phone should be banned for the safety of the students. The government started to push this banned after the story of the 14-year-old Northern Territory girl Amy ‘Dolly’ Everett took her own life. To prevent this from happening to anyone else the government thinks of banning mobile phones. At least some of that behaviour can be reduced by preventing kids from using Twitter or Facebook during the school day. Students should feel safe at school and not have to continually check their social media accounts to ensure that a peer isn’t posting cruel or harassing messages. Mobile phone should be banned at schools.
Moreover, Mobile phones can cut down the amount of screen time. Scientists continue to warn about the dangers of kids spending so much time in front of a screen that can cause problems to their eyes. Its normal amount of screen time spent by a student is about six hours per day in front of a screen be it a computer, phone or television and which doesn’t include the amount of screen time that occurs at school. One way to ensure that students’ eyes and minds receive an average amount of screen time is to start minimizing the amount that occurs at school. So it can prevent students from having eye problems or even serious problems after by using too much of screen time. Mobile phones should be banned in schools

However, parents advocate for their kids having phones in the classroom is that they want to be able to reach them in case of an emergency. In order for them to be able to receive that emergency message, but they sent something about something the parents will start worrying about their children and would be hesitant about it as well. But there is no need of texting parents about the student being sick or worried about something. That why school have “sick bay” where they’ll treat they see if they need to go home they will call the parents. So there is no need for mobile phones. Mobile phones should be banned.
