Mary Shelley started writing one of her most famous novels when she was 18 and finished it when was around 20 years old. The novel was published in 1823 under her name, Mary Shelley. Frankenstein movie was filmed in 1994, directed by Kenneth Branagh. Horror drama film had a budget of $45 million and is one of well known movie recreations of Mary Shelley’s novel. Even though the Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein movie was based on the novel, it has a lot of differences and similarities.
The creature in the novel was portraited as an evil and angry creature which wanted to kill and slaughter, while in the movie, Frankenstein was a nice person who wanted to be as everyone else and he did not understand why everyone was trying to hurt him and why he was not the same as other people. In the movie, Frankenstein was able to read Victor’s journal and talk to other people. After the creature understood why everyone was attacking him, he wanted to get the revenge against his creator, Victor. Victor left the creature to die, without explaining anything to him, and this is what made Frankenstein mad.
Doctor Victor Frankenstein was portraited differently too. At the point when Frankenstein attended a university in the book, from my insight, he didn’t contend as much as he did in the movie. In the book, Frankenstein’s teacher (Mister Waldman) just concocted the possibility of re-liveliness, which animated Frankenstein’s extreme creative ability. Frankenstein concocted every one of the procedures for re-activity, and just had the help of his brilliant teacher who got all the credit of the inexplicable accomplishment in the abnormal film.
